KIEV, Aug. 2 – France's King & Spalding law firm will continue protecting Ukraine's interests in 2011 in the litigation on a claim by Russia's Tatneft.
According to a posting on the Web site of the Ukrainian Economic Development and Trade Ministry on the results of a tender with one bidder conducted by the Justice Ministry, the agreement worth $1.6 million (VAT not included) was signed by the sides on July 26, 2011.
The term for the provision of legal services is until December 31, 2011.
According to an explanatory note on conducting a tender with one bidder, King&Spalding has been representing Ukraine's interests in the case since 2009 and it is well acquainted with the facts of the case.
