ASHGABAT, Aug. 29 - Turkmenistan has set up a state commission for investigating the circumstances of the illegal supply of 500 million cubic meters of gas to Ukraine in 2003.

Turkmen President Separmurat Niyazov made a statement to that effect in a meeting of the country's Cabinet of Ministers broadcasted by the national TV Channel.
