KIEV, July 26 – Ukrnafta, Ukraine's largest oil producer, has appealed against a ruling by the Arbitration Institute of the Stockholm Chamber of Commerce that the company must pay $146.9 million in compensation to Carpatsky Petroleum Corporation, Delaware, the United States, for failing to fulfill an agreement on the joint development of the Rudivske-Krasnozavodske gas condensate field in Poltava region.

As Ukrnafta said in its quarterly report in the information disclosure system of the State Commission for Securities and the Stock Market, the case is being considered by the Svea Court of Appeal in Stockholm.
