KIEV, July 26 – The state does not want to see mass sales of land plots by farmers and wants to buy up at least 30% of the country's farmland, said Mykola Kaliuzhny, deputy head of Ukraine’s State Agency for Land Resources of Ukraine.
"It's important to inform people that the pecuniary assessment methods will be revised, and the price of land plots will grow. The price of a hectare of farmland will grow to UAH 20,000. The state plans to buy up at least 30% of the farmland," he said.
