ZAPORIZHIA, July 22 – The Russian Defense Ministry has acquired one of the two An-70 military transport aircraft being built at an aircraft plant in Kiev, according to Motor Sich President Viacheslav Bohuslayev.

"This aircraft is being assembled. The Defense Ministry of Russia has bought the An-70 aircraft so that we can use the money to start building the other aircraft this year," he added.

According to Bohuslayev, Kiev-based Aviant aircraft plant has been building two An-70 aircraft under an order from Ukraine's Defense Ministry.
