KIEV, July 18 – The adoption of the law on state service would resolve the problem of the material security of state officials and make this profession more prestigious, Head of the Main Department of the Civil Service of Ukraine Tymofiy Motrenko has said.

"The issue of the material status of state officials could be resolved. Starting from January 1, 2013 the wages of state officials of various categories would increase by two, two and a half and even three times, depending on the minimum wage," he said during a briefing in Kiev on July 15.
