KIEV, Aug. 26 - Large-scale housing construction will help push down housing prices, according to Prime Minister Yulia Tymoshenko.

"Only supply may reduce prices on the market, i.e. large-scale housing construction should start, and then housing prices will fall considerably. But [the government] cannot stimulate the housing construction market now while construction firms are unaware whether people can afford to buy flats," she said.
