KIEV, July 13 – Iraq has paid Ukraine in full for the first batch of Ukrainian BTR-4 armored personnel carriers, manufactured at a Kharkiv plant under a $550 million contract with Iraq and supplied to the customer in April-May 2011, according to a source at a bank familiar with the details of the contract.

"The second tranche of the payment for the first batch of the military vehicles supplied to Iraq has arrived in full at a Ukrainian bank's account today," the source said on Wednesday.

"The Iraqi side pays under the contract as scheduled," the source added.
