KIEV, July 12 - TVEL, part of Russian nuclear power company Rosatom, in 2010 sold fresh nuclear fuel worth $608.127 million for use by Ukrainian nuclear power plants (NPP) to state enterprise EnergoAtom.

These data are presented in the annual report of TVEL for 2010 posted on the Web site of the fuel company.

The document notes that the total export of nuclear fuel to countries outside the former Soviet Union and to Ukraine in dollar terms in 2010 amounted to $1.108 billion, which is 14.2% up on 2009. However, in ruble terms it fell by 4.9% due to changes in the exchange rates of foreign currencies to the ruble.
