KIEV, July 13 – Ukraine’s exports of grain could increase to 20 million metric tons in 2011-2012, up from an estimated 12.1 million mt in 2010-2011, depity prime minister Anriy Kliuyev said Wednesday.
"If the positive situation for grain harvesting remains unchanged, we can expect that this harvest grain exports could be up to 20 million tons," he said, opening a cabinet meeting on Wednesday.
Exports of wheat could reach nine million tons, he said.
He also said that even with the said exports, the domestic needs of the country will be satisfied in full, and ending stocks will be formed.
