KIEV, July 8 – Parliament has passed bill No. 7351 to regulate relations between lenders and consumers of financial services.
The new legislation foresees, among other things, a ban on consumer loans being made in foreign currency.
The document was supported by 226 MPs on July 8 with six votes against.
The bill contains a number of provisions aimed at safeguarding lenders' rights - it improves the bankruptcy procedure, execution on a debtor's property, and the sale of claims under loan agreements.
