KIEV, July 8 - Ukraine has announced a tender to prepare the feasibility study for construction of an LNG regasification terminal, the State Procurement Web site has reported.

The deadline for bidding in the tender, initiated by the LNG Terminal National Project, is August 8.

Preliminary plans call for receiving the first shipments of LNG - a total of 2 billion cubic meters (bcm) - by 2014, increasing volumes to 5 bcm by 2015 and to 10 bcm by 2017.
