KIEV, July 7 – The consideration of a gas supply case against her in court is intended to distract attention from real problems facing Ukraine, former Prime Minister Yulia Tymoshenko said.

"The real goal of these trials is to distract attention from the trouble that currently exists in Ukraine... Such trials are intended to divert attention from real problems," she told journalists in the courtroom during a break in a court session on Thursday.
