KIEV, July 6 – The hryvnia exchange rate will hold relatively stable in the near tem, in the UAH 7.80-8.00/$1 range, according to Yuriy Kolobov, First Deputy in the near term Governor of the National Bank of Ukraine.

"There are no grounds that the exchange rate will reach far over UAH 8.00/$1 or UAH 7.80/$1. Demand and supply now are balanced," he told the press on Monday.

"At present the situation is absolutely stable. We don't see grounds for changes in the exchange rate," Kolobov said.
