KIEV, July 5 - The first half of this year saw 58.078 billion cubic meters (bcm) of natural gas transit through Ukraine on its way to Europe and countries in the CIS, which was a 13.9% year-on-year increase.
Ukrtransgaz, a subsidiary of national oil and gas company Naftogaz Ukrayiny, reported that 56.441 bcm of gas transited to Western Europe in the first half (up 14.5%) and 1.636 bcm to CIS countries (down 3.3%).
