KIEV, July 6 – The Ukrainian government has instructed several ministries to draw up a feasibility study for the upgrade of the Ukrainian gas transport system and the country's underground gas storage facilities.

The same task stipulated in cabinet resolution No. 1073-r of May 19, 2010 on the approval of a plan of top-priority measures for 2010 on Ukraine's joining the European Union was given to the Ukrainian Energy Ministry, Economy Ministry, Finance Ministry, Foreign Ministry and national joint-stock company Naftogaz Ukrayiny for 2010.
