WASHINGTON, Aug. 25 - Earl W. Gast was sworn in as the director for U.S. Agency for International Development mission in Ukraine to manage $105 million in funds promoting democracy, health and economy, USAID said Thursday.
Gast has an experience in post conflict oriented development management after serving on assignments in Iraq in 2003 and in Kosovo in 2002, the USAID said. He has been on a mission to Rome last year as the USAID representative to U.N. agencies.
