KIEV, June 30 – Ukrainian nuclear scientists have first integrated the European Union through joining the European Atomic Forum (FORATOM), President of National Nuclear Generating Company EnergoAtom Yuriy Nedashkovsky said in an interview with Profile magazine.

"Ukraine is the only state, which not being a member of the European Union, participates in the FORATOM. Actually, our nuclear scientists were first who joined the European Union," he said.
