KIEV, June 30 – The Ukrainian government has approved 123 projects to reconstruct budget-funded establishments using the funds obtained from the sale of Assigned Amount Units (AAUs, emission quotas) to Japan, the press service of the State Environmental Investment Agency of Ukraine has reported.

The cost of approved projects is about UAH 215 million, the press service reported.

The planned reduction in greenhouse gas emissions is estimated at 17,000 tons carbon dioxide equivalent.
