KIEV, June 29 – Lawmakers have proposed to permit corporatization of Zaporizhia titanium and magnesium combine, Titan state-run joint-stock company (Armiansk, Crimea), Irshansk ore mining and processing enterprise (Zhytomyr region) and Vilnohirsk mining and smelting mill (Dnipropetrovsk region), although retain them on a list of companies that are not subject to privatization.
Draft law No. 8725 drawn up by Regions MPs Yuriy Karakai and Serhiy Maiboroda was registered in Parliament on June 25.
The lawmakers also proposed to permit the privatization of joint-stock company Slavuta-based Budfarfor in Khmelnytsky region, Ukrainian State Glass Institute, Avtosklo industrial association (both based in Donetsk region) and three silk farms.
