KIEV, June 21 - Ukraine increased electricity exports by 16.4% or 291.1 million kilowatt-hours, in January-May, to 2.071 billion kilowatt-hours, the Energy and Coal Industry Ministry announced.
Electricity exports to Hungary, Slovakia and Romania from the Burshtyn thermal power plant in the first five months of 2011 rose by 2.1 times or 574.9 million kilowatt-hours compared to January-May 2010, to 1.109 billion kilowatt-hours.
