KIEV, June 21 – Austria’s Activ Solar is intending to increase the capacity of a solar power plant in Okhotnykove (Saki region, Crimea) to 60 MW by 2012, the head of the State Agency for Energy Saving, Mykola Pashkevych, told reporters in Kiev on Tuesday.
"They launched a capacity of 7.5 MW last year. They are constructing now, and we are expecting a solar power plant of 60 megawatts to be launched in Crimea," he said.
Pashkevych said that the construction is going according to the schedule.
