KIEV, June 20 – The Energy and Coal Industry Ministry and Sinohydro Corporation Ltd (China) on June 8 signed a memorandum on cooperation in the construction of hydropower plants in Ukraine, the ministry said on Monday.

The ministry said that Ukraine and China are intending to construct a combined-cycle power plant in Schelkino (Crimea), as well as reconstruct 0.4-110 kV power grids with a length of 4,800 kilometers and 24 substations of energy supply company Krymenergo.
