KIEV, June 10 - Group DF is planning to introduce natural gas and electricity consumption reduction projects at nitric mineral fertilizer producers, according to director general Robert Shetler-Jones.

"The chemical industry depends on energy resources - the share of natural gas in the cash cost of nitric fertilizers is 70-80%. Gas price growth affects the cash cost. A reduction in energy consumption is an urgent task for us, and the realization of the task defines competitiveness of the products made by us," he said.
