KIEV, June 7 – Former Prime Minister Yulia Tymoshenko has stressed the importance of preserving the strategic partnership between Ukraine and the United States, regardless of change of government in Ukraine.

"As a political force and representatives of the country, we highly appreciate our ties with the United States, and it is important to preserve and develop this strategic partnership in the difficult period after the change of government in Ukraine," she said during a meeting with a delegation of the U.S. congressmen in Kiev on Tuesday.
