KIEV, June 7 – Ukraine and the People's Republic of China are developing cooperation on a construction program of for China's new L-15 training aircraft, said Ihor Kravchenko, chief designer of Zaporizhia-based Ivchenko-Progress State Enterprise.

He said that under a contract signed in spring with China, the first shipment to the customer of Ukrainian AI-222-25F serial engines for the L-15 would be carried out in 2011-2012.

The volume of shipments and the terms of the contract are secret.
