KIEV, June 7 - The growth of industrial producer prices slowed to 2.6% in May from 3.4% in April, the State Statistics Service said.
Since the beginning of the year, industrial prices have grown by 15%.
The service noted that industrial prices in May 2011 grew by 4.4% compared to May 2010, therefore the growth of prices in May 2011 slowed to 18.8% from 20.8% in April 2011.
The service said that in April prices in mining industry were 1%. In May prices in mining industry were 1% up, including a 2.5% rise in oil extraction.
