ZAPORIZHIA, June 3 – The creation of the Ukrainian-Russian UAC-Antonov joint-venture is a new stage in cooperation of Ukraine and Russia in aircraft manufacturing, which will ensure the development of both countries' priority aerospace projects, according to Viacheslav Bohuslayev, chairman of Zaporizhia-based OJSC Motor-Sich.

"Our relations with Russia have broken the deadlock. A joint venture on a parity basis with the United Aircraft Corporation of Russia was set up without infringing national interests," he said at a briefing following a meeting of the Ukrainian-Russian interstate coordinating council on aircraft engine manufacturing corporations.
