KIEV, June 1 – The government on Tuesday re-submitted to Parliament its pension reform legislation, underscoring desperate attempts to win resumption of lending from the International Monetary Fund by the end of July.

The controversial legislation, which increases the retirement age for women, has been sitting unmoved in Parliament for months, before lawmakers returned it to the Cabinet earlier this week.
