KIEV, May 31 – The Ukrainian government in June will approve a procedure for the use of EUR 160 million obtained from the sale of Assigned Amount Units (AAUs, emission quotas) to Japan, First Deputy Chairman of State Agency for Ecological Investment in Ukraine, Ivan Varha, said in Kiev.

"In two or three weeks the cabinet is to approve the use of the funds," he said.

Varha said that the funds are intended to reduce emissions and increase energy saving.
