KIEV, May 30 – The Ukrainian Association of Car Importers and Dealers believes that the initiative of the Ukrainian authorities to introduce car import quotas if a free trade zone with the European Union is created is unacceptable.

An association press release issued on May 27 says that the association understands the position of Ukrautoprom and its attempts to protect its interests, although the said restrictions of imports have been imposed for a long period of time, and the Association of Car Importers and Dealers successfully prevented attempts to create trade barriers for car importers.
