KIEV, May 25 - Ukraine is planning in the 2011-2012 marketing year (from July 1) to export eight to nine million tons of wheat, five to six million tons of barley and four million tons of corn, which totals 19-20 million tons of grain, the Agrarian Policy and Food Ministry forecasts.
"We will not initiate the introduction of quotas in the next marketing year unless there is a threat to national food security. We have full mutual understanding with grain traders and international financial institutions on the issue," the ministry's press service said on Wednesday, citing minister Mykola Prysiazhniuk.
