POLTAVA, May 24 - Naftogaz Ukrayiny plans to invest UAH 2.4 billion (about $300.6 million) to boost gas production in 2011-2012, Energy and Coal Industry Minister Yuriy Boyko told journalists in Poltava on Tuesday.

"We plan to invest approximately UAH 2.4 billion in production alone this year and the next," Boyko said.

Addition of pressure systems will help to boost production at nearly depleted fields, he said.
