KIEV, May 17 – First Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Economic Development and Trade of Andriy Kliuyev said that the government intends to pay special attention to economic aspects of foreign policy and has already significantly increased the number of contacts with its major economic partners.

"In recent years, the number of contacts at all levels with our main partners has vastly increased. We are talking about Russia, the European Union, the United States and other countries... We're working in virtually all directions. We are also taking an interest in new markets - Asia, Africa, America, and Middle East countries. Our task is to actively promote our national interests," he said in an interview with Interfax-Ukraine.

The first vice premier said that last year Ukraine's cooperation with China reached a new level.
