KIEV, May 16 – The net increase in foreign direct investment (FDI) in Ukraine in the first quarter of 2011 has been estimated at $829.3 million, which is 8.4 times up on the same figure for the first quarter of 2010, the State Statistics Service reported Monday.
According to the service, January through March 2011, foreign investors pumped in $925.7 million in direct investment to the Ukrainian economy, which was 29.1% up on January-March 2010.
