KIEV, May 16 - Ukraine’s biggest steelmaker, ArcelorMittal Kryviy Rih (AMKR), reduced output of crude steel by 10.2% year-on-year to 1.83 million metric tons in January through April, down from 2.04 million mt produced a year ago, the company reported Monday.
AMKR also reduced output of rolled steel by 9.8% year-on-year to 1.6 million mt, while production of pig iron dropped by 12.1% year-on-year to 1.57 million mt, the company reported.
