KHARKIV, May 13 – Representatives of the trade union of entrepreneurs and a number of NGOs in Kharkiv have demanded that the government led by Prime Minister Mykola Azarov resign and that early presidential elections be called.
"We are expressing a vote of no-confidence in the president, the parliament, and the prime minister. An ultimatum delivered to the president by AvtoMaidan has been ignored. He does not listen to us, so we are demanding that early presidential elections be called... We offer people to join our movement against oligarchic rule and for the sake of democracy so that any officials or deputies could be dismissed at the request of the people or local communities," the head of the trade union of businessmen in Kharkiv, Oleksandr Sharmar, said.
