DNIPROPETROVSK, May 12 - VAT reimbursement is still problematic in Ukraine even with the introduction of automatic VAT payments, according to Vasyl Kharakhulakh, director general of Dnipropetrovsk-based Metallurgprom association.

Karakhulakk said at a meeting of representatives of mining and metals sector companies in Dnipropetrovsk on Wednesday that as of January 1, the VAT debt to metal companies in Ukraine came to UAH 6.13 billion and by April 1 increased to UAH 6.85 billion.
