KIEV, May 10 – The Arbitration Institute of the Stockholm Chamber of Commerce on April 28 rejected most of the claims filed by British-based Remington Worldwide Limited against Ukraine, approving over $4.5 million in claims out of more than $35 million claimed from the country, the Ukrainian Ministry Justice's press service said on Tuesday, with reference to Minister Oleksandr Lavrynovych.
"The overall sum assigned to Remington Worldwide Limited as compensation for damage caused by a breach of obligations under Article 10 of the Energy Charter Treaty is $4.5 million, and annual interest on that amount from the date of the arbitration ruling until to the date of the payment of the assigned amount in full at an average LIBOR over the three months for the respective periods, increased by four percentage points, " the press service said.
