KIEV, May 11 – Kiev city is 26th in the world and 13th in the EMEA region in office construction, reads a press release of the Ukrainian representative office of Colliers International consulting company (Kiev).

According to a survey of key indicators of the office real estate market in the world and the EMEA region as of early 2011, construction of offices, rent rates, vacancy, capitalization rates in main cities of the world were taken into account in the survey.

The company said that the top five in the world's rating in terms of office construction consists of three Asian cities and two cities from the EMEA region. Shanghai is the leader with 3.5 million square meters of offices under construction.
