KIEV, May 4 – State-run Oschadbank of Ukraine has already paid almost UAH 500 million to the depositors of troubled government-supervised Rodovid Bank, according to the Web site of the National Bank of Ukraine (NBU).

"Deposits from Rodovid Banks are being returned more and more quickly (almost UAH 500 million have been repaid as of today, and over UAH 100 million was kept by depositors at Oschadbank) ... The NBU is constantly monitoring the process of payment," reads a posting on the Web site.
