KIEV, April 29 – The Southern District Court of New York has sent a summons to co-founder of the Swiss-registered gas trader RosUkrEnergo (RUE) Dmytro Firtash urging him to respond to the allegations stated in a lawsuit filed against him by former Ukrainian Prime Minister Yulia Tymoshenko.

According to a copy of the summons available to the agency, it is dated April 26.

In line with the document, Firtash should provide an answer to the complaint within 21 days of the serving of the summons to the plaintiff - Tymoshenko and her representative McCallion & Associates LLP, as well as to court.
