KIEV, April 27 – The Ukrainian Justice Ministry plans to hire U.S. law firm Dewey & LeBoeuf LLP to protect Ukraine's interests in the Massachusetts District Court in a case on a $272.5 million claim by U.S. Universal Trading & Investment Co., Inc and Foundation Honesty International, Inc. against the Ukrainian Prosecutor General's Office and Justice Ministry.
According to a report on the state procurement with one bidder published in the Visnyk Derzhavnykh Zakupivl newspaper, the services of Dewey & LeBoeuf LLP for 2011 cost $495,000.
