KIEV, April 22 – Ukraine is ready to start talks on the creation of a free trade area with the Customs Union of Russia, Belarus and Kazakhstan, Ukrainian Foreign Minister Kostiantyn Hryschenko has said.
"With a view to resolving all of the problems, the Ukrainian side is ready to consider the issue of signing an agreement on a free trade area between Ukraine and the Customs Union, which will foresee the mutual cancellation or a gradual reduction of customs tariffs and tariff restrictions on mutual trade, as well as other measures," he said in Parliament on Friday.
