KIEV, April 21 – Russian-British joint venture TNK-BP is calling on the Ukrainian government to accelerate the procedure for issuing permits for exploration and the extraction of gas from alternative sources, Mikhail Slobodin, Executive Vice President, Gas and Power, at TNK-BP said.

"We should start more quickly, move more quickly, adapt laws and realize pilot projects," he told the press in Kiev on Wednesday.
