YALTA, April 19 – The use of the national currencies of the CIS states in trade is becoming a more urgent issue, but progress in this direction is restrained by several factors, Deputy National Bank of Ukraine Governor Ihor Sorkin said.

"The expansion of the use of national currencies in mutual trade is becoming more urgent, taking into account the increase in the volatility of the global currency exchange rates and the policy of the depreciation of national currencies conducted by some countries," he said at the Investment Forum "Yalta Business Meetings."
