PM vows to press ahead to renegotiate ‘shackling’ Russian gas deal
Journal Staff Report

KIEV, April 21 - Prime Minister Mykola Azarov on Thursday played down the possibility of abrogating a 10-year natural gas supply agreement with Russia, but insisted his government will press to renegotiate the “shackling” deal.

The comment comes less than a week after a senior Ukrainian prosecutor has suggested the government may seek to abrogate the agreement by filing a lawsuit to an international court.
