KIEV, April 19 – The presidents of a number of countries attending a summit on the safe and innovative use of nuclear energy in Kiev on Tuesday have said they believe that nuclear safety is a top priority.

Kazakh President Nursultan Nazarbayev said at the summit that today issues of nuclear safety, just as 25 years ago, were relevant because of the situation at the Fukushima-1 nuclear power plant in Japan.
