KIEV, April 18 – About 50 foreign delegations of various levels are expected to attend events to mark the 25th anniversary of the Chernobyl disaster, which will be held in Kiev.

Interfax-Ukraine has learned that Secretary General of the Council of Europe Thorbjorn Jagland, United Nations Secretary-General Ban Ki-moon, Director General of the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) Yukiya Amano, European Commission President Jose Manuel Barroso, and EBRD President Thomas Mirow have confirmed they will attend.
