KIEV, April 13 - Ukraine and Russia will discuss natural gas prices at a meeting between officials from both governments on April 19 in Kiev, Prime Minister Mykola Azarov said Wednesday.

The announcement comes one day after Azarov and his Russian counterpart Vladimir Putin failed to make progress in talks over natural gas prices during Putin’s visit to Kiev.

“The main positive result of the talks was that the Russian prime minister promised to instruct his deputy Ihor Sechin to discuss with the government of Ukraine gas price formula during his visit to Ukraine on April 19,” Azarov told the Cabinet meeting.
